Jar to Remember

For as long as I can remember, I have made the new years’ resolution to stop biting my nails.

At 24 years old, I still chew on them when I’m nervous.

For the most part, new years resolutions are simply a vow made to improve in some area of my life that I have no real motivation for and I usually forget about it by February anyway.

I found this on Buzzfeed and thought it was a great idea, though; a rememberlutions jar.

The idea is that you decorate the jar and then when you do something memorable that year, write it on a piece of paper and put it in the jar. Then, at the end of the year take them all out and remember and celebrate your achievements for the year!

I think it’s a great idea to keep your confidence throughout the year (if you’re having a bad day, just read some of the cool stuff you’ve done already) and it’s really inspiring way to ring in the new year.

So, do you make new years resolutions? How many have you kept?
